YOU ARE THE DREAM is poetic light artwork in the form of luminous text that hovers over the garage building. Neat, unpretentious, letters are the building blocks of this artwork. As the surrounding buildings consist of recurring elements, such as windows and balconies and repeated concrete reliefs, I draw parallels to those elements and create my artwork by recurring luminous letters. Behind all those similar windows, there are many unique stories and many human destinies. I believe that YOU ARE THE DREAM can offer different experiences and interpretations in various and personal ways. At the first glance, the work is perceived as an unbroken line of letters, like a crown that adorns the garage building. At the next glance, the meaning of the text begins to emerge, as letters become words, and words become sentences.
